Release Notes for RangersKB v2.0

Major Changes

• The frameset feature is now provided by rangerskb skin instead of a KbFrame document
• The top bar has its own document instead of using existing WebTopBar documents
• A toolbar is embeded into the top bar
• The tree is now generated from a index file instead of using TREE variable to enumerate all docs
• Draft documents are displayed in the tree for authorized users
• Draft documents are placed in a sub web so active in-production documents are not affected by un-finished updating.
• Shortcuts are created for common features such as "Publish"
• Original left bar provided by pattern skin is removed
• Customization is done through KBPereferencesForm instead of use WebPrefrences directly

To Do

• Multiple format support as document content (word, PDF etc.)
• Make skin CSS customizable through preference forms
• Optimize the regular expression engine for tree generation (done 2/27)
• Tree cache on server side
• Directory import
